Concert - St Hugh's Church Lincoln (April 18, 2009)
St Hugh's Roman Catholic Church, Monks Road, Lincoln, is embarking on a major restoration programme in 2010. The cost of this will be in excess of £100,000. A large proportion of these funds will have to be raised by the members of the congregation. To commence the fund raising effort on Saturday evening April 18th The Lincolnshire Hospitals Band launched the appeal with a concert in the Church. A substantial sum was raised and it is envisaged that the Band, together with other performers and choirs, will be giving a series of concerts over the next year to raise more funds for this essential restoration.
