 Lynne has played the tenor horn in the band for the last 7 years, playing both 1st Horn, with the odd bit of Solo thrown in now and again. She hails from "bonnie" Scotland where, in 1997, she graduated from Aberdeen University with BEd (Hons) Music degree. After graduation, she worked in various primary schools as a music specialist and in secondary schools as a music supply teacher in Ayrshire. In September 1998, she got a job as a music teacher on the Isle of Wight where she lived and worked for four years before moving to Lincolnshire in 2002. In 2006, Lynne took a few months out to live and work in the USA as a High School Band Director and music tutor.
Lynne is currently Head of Music in a local secondary school and a Vocal Tutor for Lincolnshire Music Service and Bishop Grosseteste University College, Lincoln. Recently, she decided to explore a new avenue and is now a qualified holistic therapist.
